I have been organising this long weekend event for the VMCCni since 2012 for riders of pre'31 vintage machines. It is currently based in Kilkeel at the end of July and normally is attended by 35 riders on their own machines.

Some machines date back to 1912 and it is a rare opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and smells of early motorcycling.

Riders carried their own luggage and whilst they were supported with a repair and recovery service, they were encouraged to be self reliant. It proved to be rewarding.

DelNorté motorcycling touring is the vintage bike element of MOAG2020.  We believe in vintage motorcycling. It captures the experience of a bygone era, riding mechanically fascinating machines on roads reminiscent of a lost time. Participants get an immersive sense of independence, self reliance and adventure that has become harder to find in our digital age. We are passionate about both the Mournes and the Merindades and are focussed on showcasing them.
